We worked with football, fitness and training experts from our STATSports Fan Intelligence® Collective – Individuals included a music artist from the UK, a fashion designer from USA and a gaming streamer from Madrid.
Aspiring footballers are dedicated to improving their game and constantly monitor their key performance metrics, not just to see how they are evolving as players but to see how they compare with their peers and with the elite. Fan Intelligence showed us that the competition and friendly rivalry in sharing these statistics, within a community of other competitive footballers, was a major motivator for this audience.
Part value in kind deals were struck as the concept was seen as an attractive opportunity to build the commercial profile of some already huge stars such as Joao Felix, Jack Grealish, Alphonso Davies and Achraf Hakimi.
Make Yourself Impossible To Ignore focussed on STATSports unique offering that allows you to monitor your progress, then pushes you even further as you compete and improve alongside the pros. In a rapidly expanding market, STATSports showed themselves to not only be the most technically advanced but also the most connected community.
STATSports successfully reached 9.7 million aspiring footballers online with training and drill
content; helping them to stay active throughout the pandemic and beyond
Following a +245% growth in sales in February 2021 (from October 2020), STATSports
reported a further 105% increase in product sales of the Apex Athlete Series via the brand’s
social channels throughout 2021
US grassroots players bought in, seeing the product as vital in their search for university
scholarships. While UK players in both grassroots and footballing academies looked to level
up their game
STATSports produced multiple TVC’s alongside pro ambassadors that aired in prominent
global sports slots and reached over 70M
#ProLe/vels proved a huge success across social with an engagement of 1,072,082 on
Instagram and TikTok. Influencers involved in the campaign also grew from 15 to 50, with
content figures continuing to rise as followers continually saving, rewatching and re-sharing

As a result, STATSports is continuing to invest and grow its influencer network throughout
2022. Strategy will not only be focused around influencers producing ongoing and relevant
content, but also formalising them as a social sales channel by introducing direct affiliate
links for influencers
