An influencer campaign brought Horizon Forbidden West to life in fun and unexpected new ways. This was designed to appeal to both die-hard Horizon fans and the wider action-loving gamers. 

Train Like Aloy 
Fans told us they feel a real connection with the lead character Aloy, who is a stand-out example of female representation in games. So we asked our influencer squad to Train Like Aloy.

Everyone from skilled specialists to traditional gaming influencers and cosplayers, tried out Aloy's new skills from Horizon Forbidden West to see if they had what it takes to survive the Forbidden West. 

Clawstrider
Fans told us about their fascination with in-game combat machines known as Clawstriders. PlayStation listened and worked with VFX creators to create life-size Clawstriders that appeared to wreak havoc in the real world through social media content.
